“UK Granite were referred to us by friends. We are so glad that we chose them. They were very professional from start to finish. They arrived on time, both to measure and fit, and were meticulous in their work. Our worktops and upstands look stunning. We’re so happy. Thank you!“

How much does a quartz worktop cost?

The cost of a quartz worktop depends on several key factors: the size of your kitchen, the number of slabs required, the type of quartz you choose, and the complexity of the cuts or installation.

At UK Granite & Quartz, we offer quartz from a wide range of premium brands, including Silestone, CRL, Compac, and more, as well as our own in-house quartz collection, which is by far the most cost-effective option. All our ranges are high quality and professionally fitted, so there’s something for every budget.

Quartz is typically priced based on the number of full slabs required. Unlike other materials, you can’t usually join offcuts or reuse partial pieces, especially when cut-outs for sinks or hobs are involved. That’s why we offer a free, no-obligation quote. Simply send us your kitchen plans, and we’ll provide you with a clear price based on your layout and preferences.

Can I just buy the worktop and fit it myself?

Yes, we offer both supply-only and supply-and-fit services to suit your specific project needs. If you’re working with your own kitchen fitter or builder, we’re happy to just supply the quartz cut to size and ready for installation, although as stone worktops is a unique material, it often works out better, easier and sometimes cheaper just for us to handle the installation once the rest of the kitchen is fitted.

We’ll still provide you with a free quote and support you with selecting the right quartz based on your kitchen layout. That way, even if you don’t need us to install it, you’ll still get expert guidance and a product that fits perfectly.

What if I don’t know my exact kitchen measurements yet?

That’s completely fine. If you’re looking for a rough estimate to budget for your kitchen, we can still help. In fact, most of our customers contact us before their kitchen is fully installed.

To make things easy, we offer a free post-fit templating service where our team visits your home after your base units are installed to take accurate measurements.

This ensures your worktops are cut to fit exactly, avoiding costly mistakes or wasted materials. The more accurate your initial plans are, the more accurate our first quote can be; however, you don’t need exact dimensions to get started.

How long does the whole process take?

The entire process, from the initial quote to final installation, can take as little as 3 to 5 working days, depending on how quickly your kitchen is ready, the complexity of the job, and whether we have the exact stone you ordered in stock or need to order it.

Once you’ve approved your quote and your kitchen is installed, we’ll template the space, manufacture your quartz, and professionally fit it. We always aim to work around your schedule and keep your renovation running smoothly

Can I visit the showroom before I decide?

Absolutely, we encourage it. Seeing the quartz options in person helps you get a better sense of colour, texture, and finish. Our Manchester showroom is available by appointment, allowing us to provide one-on-one assistance and help you select the ideal material for your space.

It’s a great opportunity to compare ranges, ask questions, and get expert advice before committing and there’s no pressure to buy.
